"Rock-a-Rumba"
Gallo Pinto performs rock-a-rumba, as they themselves call it,
songs and rhythms from a time when dance music was also pop music:
melodies from Hollywood and Hamburg, Havana and Hawaii.
With their acoustic tiki tiki instrumentals which aroused a longing
for far away countries in the 20’s and 60’s and were as trendy in
Latin America and the South Sea as on the German North Sea coast,
Gallo Pinto has a record of making people dance, jump
and sweat on their tours through Germany, Portugal and Spain.
